Dr. Ngoma Evelyn Moghalu (Dr. M.) is a wife, mother, researcher, teacher, social scientist, speaker, published author, and avid advocate for women, and Autism awareness/acceptance. Dr. M.’s advocacy is informed by her personal experiences as a woman, and mother to her handsome son with Autism. She has a Bachelor’s degree in political science, and a Masters’ degree in Mass Media Communication Studies from Howard University, Washington, D.C. She obtained her Doctorate degree in Sociology from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas. As an educator in social science courses, and a mass media communications professional, Dr. M. is committed to advancing knowledge, promoting dialogue, and fostering social change through her work. She brings diverse perspectives and experiences to the students, high education communities and media organizations she collaborates with, and she values public discourse, critical inquiry, creativity, curiosity, and inclusiveness. With a robust background in politics, communications, sociology, Africana studies, rigorous academic pursuits, and a demonstrated track record in enhancing education, Dr. M. is excited to pursue opportunities lecturing in higher education, and mass media communication consultant positions. Her education, including a Ph.D. in Sociology with a focus on Media and Society, coupled with hands-on editorial assistance, honed her writing, editing, and content creation skills. She aspires to leverage these competencies to contribute to academic research, editorial teams, ensuring the production of engaging and high-quality content that aligns with your institution’s vision. As an educator and communication specialist, Dr. M. has worked closely with academic institutions, media and marketing teams, while building client relations by maintaining clear, and timely communication through diverse channels. She communicates effectively and manages the narrative to favor the institution’s brand. She addresses concerns diplomatically, while maintaining transparency. Her ultimate goal as an educator and communication specialist is to shape the minds of her students, and higher education image by ensuring consistent teaching and messaging across all platforms.
